Domestic Violence Support & Legal Referrals

Birch Foundation supports individuals experiencing domestic violence by providing practical assistance, community support, and referrals to trusted professionals. Through our partnership with Oracle Law Australia, eligible individuals receive initial legal advice after completing our intake form. This advice is usually provided within 48 hours, either by phone or in person depending on solicitor availability. Birch Foundation also assists with clothing, companionship and support during difficult times, free printing and scanning of court documents, help completing forms or applications, and access to free WiFi when required. Our goal is to ensure individuals feel supported, informed, and connected to the right services so they can move forward safely.

Op Shop & Community Coffee Bar

Our op shop and community coffee bar support the work of Birch Foundation while creating a welcoming space for the community. The op shop offers a range of quality pre-loved items, with proceeds helping fund our community outreach and support programs. Our coffee bar serves fresh coffee and drinks, where every purchase helps support people experiencing hardship, homelessness, and domestic violence. We also partner with disability employment agencies, offering volunteering opportunities that help individuals build confidence, develop practical skills, and gain valuable workplace experience.
